One fun way to complete the story above is to ask your child (or student) to first list the words needed for each story separately, before he sees the story, or even knows what it's about. For example, before giving your child the printable version of this story, you would ask him to write out a friend's name, an adjective, an adverb, another adverb, and so on, in the same order in which the words will be used in the story.
